Guest - Dec 01, 2006 07:12 AM EDT thankyou Beverly, - to be honest, it's only lately that I realized how cute the towhees are. Perhaps I never saw them as closeup before, until looking thru the viewfinder of the camera.
Guest - Nov 30, 2006 09:33 PM EDT Nice shot - I didn't realize they had such red eyes.
Guest - Nov 29, 2006 05:42 AM EDT thanks Alex, boy am sure behind with all my "thankyous".

Guest - Nov 17, 2006 09:43 PM EDT oops, sorry Mary, just checked and the lens used for this one is the 100-400, after all.
Guest - Nov 17, 2006 08:42 PM EDT many thanks for the nice comments, Steve, Mary, Carol and Don. Mary, to be honest, when submitting this image, I wasn't sure exactly which lens I used :) as it was several days ago that those were captured. But believe I was trying out the new lens. Will hafta go back and see which one I entered for the prev. towhee photo, as it was the same session. Haven't been taking pics for the past few days, what with one thing and another.
