The is the famous 'Splash and Dash' event at the annual Waikato Balloon Festival, Hamilton, New Zealand. Sometimes they make it, and sometimes they don't.

Thanks Mary :) It was this annual weeklong balloon drama that inspired me to buy a camera in the first place - and I'm still passionate about the balloons. During the Festival they fill the sky over Hamilton for a week, and land in all kinds of strange places like the downtown streets and supermarket car parks.

Deb, a very nice picture and good reflections. Rarely ever see a balloon around here so it's a treat to see a picture.
