One of my coworkers told me that a Red Snapper was laying eggs on a mulch pile. By the time I got down there, the exhausted female was laborously making her way back to the pond after her ordeal, still well-coated in the red mulch. Several of the eggs didn't make it all the way under her nest, so I opted to get some images of them too and created a frame to show them to you.
