About This Image

This whole flock was waiting for the tide to recede so the Oysters can be eaten for lunch.
In the back ground is a small mountain and close by are scora caves which tunnel towards the city some 20 kilometers away.

Taken as we walked along Weymouth beach in Auckland,
New Zealand.

Thank you Carol for the compliment,I used to live in this area for six years,walked this foreshore most days and hadn't seen this many birds,just happened by chance when I was showing my uncle from Amsterdam on holiday here.
