Had just been experimenting with brushes on this photo of my antique organ.

Cindy - Apr 09, 2008 10:32 PM EDT So glad my photo gave you some nice memories Gav. We always have the radio on in our cowshed too but when I milk on my own, I turn it off. I just like the quietness and even tho I agree with your dad saying the cows give more milk, I've also found that when I milk, I am always up on milk. Perhaps they also just like the womans touch!! Lol
GAV - Apr 04, 2008 12:01 AM EDT What a great photo. It makes me think of my late Father, who always had the Radio on in the milking shed. He said it relaxed the cows, so they gave more milk. I can hear the Organ music floating over the Cowshed. Thankyou Cindy for the Memories.
Cindy - Apr 03, 2008 05:51 PM EDT Many thanks to Carol,Jas, Golda and Anne for your nice remarks. I guess at sometime it has been in a church so I am 'blessed' to have this wonderful piece. It has some very elaporate carvings on it. It is made by a company in Chicago and I belive it is approx 110 years old. Every note still plays and it sounds heavenly!!! Thank you all for looking :)
A.Lovely - Apr 03, 2008 05:34 PM EDT What a unique and wonderful photograph of this organ. It appears to
be perhaps an old Church organ? I love the effects you added to bring
more interest to your photgraph.
golda - Apr 02, 2008 07:52 PM EDT Beautiful piece of furniture, how old is it?It has a patina, which shows many years of loving hands.
Jas - Apr 02, 2008 02:19 PM EDT That's really good Cindy and very appropriate effects. Both the sepia and the addition of the manuscript gives the impression of antiquity. :)
shutterbug - Apr 02, 2008 07:40 AM EDT Pretty effects!
