I do love clouds. Living in Northern California, it seems we don't get too much. During most of the year, it is pretty sunny everday. During the winter/rainy season it is overcast much of the time. Occassionally, especially during the spring, and often following a rain storm we will get some nice cloud formations. I like to take advantage of those opportunities to get some nice landscape shots. Let's face it, an overcast sky or one that is cloudless has a bit less character. Consequently, I will jump at the opportunity to do my photo shoots when there is a day like this one. I have found that using polarizing filters on days like these are really helpful with clouds, since they reflect light off the clouds less, and provide more depth and structure to the cloud.

I love how the converging lines lead you right in to the picture and to your Little Red Barn.
