About This Image

A photo of a little girl looking out the window of a train. It was her first time on a train and she was very excited. She was looking out that window the entire time. You can see a little of her brother's reflection in the glass too.

back for another look, to make sure I'd commented earlier :) Certainly worth more than one viewing.

Thank you all for the kind words. I glad so many people enjoyed this image. I normally don't take photos of people(which my family finds weird), I'm not that good at it. Mostly because I like my "people pictures" to convey mood and feeling. Which is hard to capture because as soon as someone sees a camera, they start the "smiling and posing" thing.

first time seeing this image, spotted it at once, love it! Echoing all the other members comments. Brings back memories of my arrival in Canada with siblings and parents, many years ago, we took the train right across Canada from Nova Scotia, where our ship docked, to British Columbia on the Westcoast.

What a superb shot. I could feel the excitement of that little girl peering out the train window and wondering what she was going to see next as the train was rolling down those tracks.

Cloning out the brother is a great idea! His reflection being in it has always bothered me.

Outstanding Estevezgl! Her reflection is perfect with her face nice and clear then fading into the trees and leaves. Her expressions is also wonderful with that deep thought look. She will never forget that trip, we went on a long train ride from Arizona to Washington DC then back, and the kids still talk about it and that was like 17 years ago. My two cents, I think cloning out her brother would be better. Sorry Brother.. :) He is distracting to me. Then for sure keep both versions for keepsakes. Great Photo! I Love It.....

Top shelf composition. I like this one a lot. Great capture, exposure is dead on. Moody, and nice. Don
