An early 19th Century cobblestone farmhouse, surrounded and isolated by trees and shrubs overgrowing the old farm fields, but still sturdy and ready to face the future. Photographed on the gray and sort of dreary last day of 2010, it sort of fits the mood of the end of a not too stellar year, with hope of a better one ahead.
