About This Image

This is the shawl I have knitted for a new gran due later in the year and have used pure wool, the idea was to knit it over the winter months, but I will have it finished by the end of the week, so will start another, a lovely pattern to knit.

Thankyou Erin for looking in and the kind comments, I've had this pattern for about 12 month or so, so the first to grans missed out, Ive made poncho's for lucy and her mother, as well as blanket for Madison, this one for the new baby due later this year, and several for neices and a couple of friends, sort have run out of babys after this one so don't really know what I do with the next blanket. something I like doing.

You must be a treasured Gran and aunty, a lovely keepsake and it looks so warm, do you make them for all the new babys in your families.

Thankyou Vicki for looking in and your kind comments, its a very simple pattern, I thought a nice keepsake for each new gran, as well as a couple of neice's have one for new babys and a friend, as for the next one I make I'm sure it will find a new little one to keep warm somewhere.

What a beautiful pattern, Lorraine. I knit and crochet too, but this is stunning. What a lucky grandchild to have this waiting to be welcomed into the world with. Vicki
