A necklace that has being passed down through the family, mother to oldest daughter, a thick gold chain with a enamel locket and pearl set into gold, a lovely item but quite heavy.

Thanks Golda for looking in and your nice comment, as far as I can tell, the story is that it was sent from a guy in SanFransisco, and that after the great earth quake he was never heard from again, but who he was we don't know.
