About This Image

Those of us who frequent W.P. Franklin North Campground in Alva, Florida have a 'morning ritual'. Our day does not officially begin until 1) we get our morning coffee and 2) spot the eagle in the top of the tree across the water. We've been seeing this one and its mate every morning - a comforting sight. I used my teleconverter to get a better image of it.

Thank you for looking, Don, Mary, Carol and Alex. I took a lot more than 10, Don! He was so far away - and I don't have a great telephoto lens yet - so was pleased to grab this amount of detail before losing it! This was always a great way to start the day. We can only at that campground for two weeks at a time (except when I was volunteering there 2 years ago!) - and have now moved to our winter location in Ft Myers. Vicki
