About This Image

The Birks Clock at dusk, around 9:25 pm. (handheld) "Meet me at the Birks Clock" was given as a place to meet for over half a century, - the clock was at the SE corner of Georgia and Granville since the grand opening 8 November 1913. It was moved when new buildings were built, but apparently it's back in it's original place now. Wherever it is now, it was nice to see the illuminated clock when we were in that area.

Hi Don, thanks very much, glad you like it. The clock did look attractive in the dusk, - tried various lenses but this is about the best image out of several. Kindof hard to hope for much better results without a tripod etc, but the 70-200 has the f2.8, so I went with that one, due to the failing light as thought there'd be more hope of a half decent image.

A very pretty clock capture Alandra. Nice colored lights. Glad to see you shooting with the 70x200. Nice work. Don
