TeTakinga marae is flanked by the banks of the Ohau Channel, the river that drains water from Lake Rotorua to Lake Rotoiti before the water then drains from Lake Rotoiti down through Okere Falls and the Kaituna river out to Pacific ocean.
TeTakinga. On the other it is flanked by Okawa Bay (where we grew up as children)
