A pair of wild turkeys taking off in my yard.They are just like little bull dozers,they just crash a hole through where they want to go.I never would have believed they would fly right into a thicket like that.

Wow what a nice shot of the wild turkeys taking off. Love the flapping and the wing spread.

Thanks for the great comment Lorraine,these wild turkeys get a big as 18-20 pounds.They do fly quite often,in the late afternoon,you can see them fly into the tall pines to roost for the nightand if you gey up at daybreak you can see them fly down to the ground again.

A lucky capture with there wings spread, they still must be quite a heavy bird, wouldent have thought they would take flight all that often, but they must do.
