Thank you for your nice comments. This was one of my earliest photos, and I always loved the graceful position of the swan and the colors of the background. But there was a portion of the sidewalk in the photo, and I only learned recently how to edit my photos and zoom in and crop the picture. I am still using film photography, not digital, and the only photo editing program I have is a very basic one that came with my computer, so zooming and cutting and pasting are the only editing I can do. But, for this photo, that made a big difference.
