This is part of the old deck of a shipwreck on the coastline of Patea Taranaki New Zeland. the wood is quite smooth and still quite hard concidering it is over 100years old.

Alandra thank you for commenting. I was pleased to see the sand had released the shipwreck again for a short time. the colour of the wood against the black sand is beatutiful.
