About This Image

This is the sundial standing in the garden where my husband and I got married last year. We always wanted a sundial and couldn't find any at all until we saw this one in a garden centre. The inscription says "be as true to each other as the dial is to the sun". Its very appropriate for the situation we think. This photo was taken at about 2.30pm which is what the dial reads.

Thanks for your comments. We acutally thought of getting a sundial for that area well before we got married, so when we spotted this one after the wedding, we were thrilled. Alandra, the area we got married is a big circular area with the buxus around it which is known to us as the helipad. I will take a photo of the whole thing one day and you will know why we call it that.

thought I'd commented on this one earlier. LOVE sundials! Like the gesture of placing the sundial at the place where you were married, lovely. Home weddings are great, that's what we did too.

Hi Lulu, This is lovely. I have taken a similar photo of my sundial with frost on it. But not good enough for the gallery. I like yours.
