Thank you so much, Steve. My Mom caught me, when I was about 4, into her picture box - trimming the pictures. *LOL* It is so great to be able to come in here and see all these wonderful pictures and to feel a part of the camaradery that exists here. I DO get carried away by the pictures so your comment made me VERY HAPPY. Thank you so much for letting me know you didn't mind! And actually like them. You really made my day!!!!

How bright and beautiful as the morning sun streams into the cottage to announce that a new day is beginning. The trees,in varying shades of green, greet the day as the sunlight touches them; a spot of river adds a lovely morning mist rising in background. A joyful picture!!

Ah - the penny drops! Well Mike, all I can say is that the getting up early came before the stone head stroking. So you can see that my mental health is slowly deteriorating!!

re stroking objects the one i refer to is a stone head you like touching and getting up early is this a problem lol am enjoying your photos keep em coming

Thanks for your comments, Lorraine, Mike and Carol. Mike, you've lost me this time! I love the morning time too, Carol, although it was very cold waiting for this moment! The day turned out to be blisteringly hot by about 11.00, but between 4.00 and 5.00 I nearly froze to death!
