About This Image

While waiting for a sunset that didn't materialize like I wanted, I was distracted by the spring blossoms. Nikon D80, 55-200/3.5G VR, 1/15s, f/10, ISO 220, all natural light, handheld. Processed in CS3 using the Orton technique and part of my Orton portfolio.

Very pretty shot of the Spring blossoms! I like the softness of the background and the white flowers look so 'pure' and unspoilt. Lovely composition. :)

Thanks Vicki for the comment, I was not happy with the original picture (needs some fill flash because of the sky) but the post-processing made it something special! I don't know why, but I love the ephemeral look that the Orton technique gives. Jay.
