Tania, thanks a lot, am so happy you like these. appreciate your nice comments always. Just had such a great day down there (despite getting half frozen to the spot, lol) but could hardly bring myself to leave, as they are so special to watch.

glad you like it, many thanks Alan for the encouragement. Wasn't too sure while focussing, as had the l.4X teleconverter on there, which means I had to do manual focus, and the owls were some distance away, so with my eyesight not being that great, wasn't always sure if I had the right focus, so altered it slightly from time to time, hoping one way or the other, would hit it right :) plus took loads of images, for the same reason.

Beautiful photo with great colors and focused so nice and clear. Love the eyes toooo. I like your wider depth of field showing the logs then the blurry background.
