Snowy Owl male, Boundary Bay, BC Canada. There were 6 Snowies in that one area that day. Some females and some males. I think this one was preparing to take off.

What a nice shot,they sure are a beautiful bird.I wish we had some around here,we seldom see any type of owl.

thankyou Mary, yes, am pleased with this pose too, and thought the same thing re "the eye". Their eyes are an unusual shape. The white snowies look like Angels. This one was farther away, closer to the water in the bay.
