believe this to be a young Snowy Owl, at Boundary Bay, BC Canada. There were 2 larger owls keeping watch near each smaller owl, which were resting on the ground, sheltering by large logs. Like the way it's looking skyward.

Thankyou Kathy, glad you like them : ) It wasn't really a chance finding, - these Snowies are here all winter, it was just a case of going to/finding the place where they "hang out". Had been intending to go there for sometime, we knew the general location, but expected that it would involve clambering over big logs to get close enough. However the day we went there, they were closer to the dyke road, so we were lucky.

Yes, again it is the eyes that are fascinating and the angle of them here. To have such clear, close pictures. And again, the setting and colours. Wonderful Alandra.
