Snake

It was shot with an 80mm lens. The cool thing about the web is that you can crop a ton of the picture, which effectively 'zooms' it for you. My camera can shoot up to 3000x2000 (give or take a few), so since this picture is only 500 pixels wide, I effectly zoomed it 6 times (500x6=3000).

I too think it is a rattler. You must have had a good zoom lens to get that good of a picture and not want to get close.

Hi, Brian! What kind of a snake is this - for me it looks some kind of a " rattler " - could this ( maybe ) be right?

I think this one would make a stunning b&w photo with the lines formed by the light and dark areas... I'll be waiting :)
