About This Image

here's the entire small island, in Howe Sound, just off Whytecliffe Park, West Vancouver, BC. Here you can see the people leaving, who were atop the island in the earlier image, leaving via the stepping stones, which are partly submerged due to the high tide.
Love the smoothness of the rock surface, makes a person wonder how many hundreds of years the waves have been washing up against the island.

What great shots. I really like them. I also like how you can zoom in so close with your camera.

thankyou Carol and Beverly. Yes, it was very peaceful there. While DH was clambering down on the rocks below, I was sitting on a bench listening to the water lapping against the rocks. It seemed spiritual there, somehow, all alone, listening to that. The bench had a memorial plaque affixed, which read "now she has peace lapping round her", -- something to that effect, so I assume the couple sat there in the past, listening to those same tranquil sounds. While there I felt compelled to offer up a little prayer each evening, for a friend.
