I would guess that the bright red color of this shroom means that it's inedible. I'll stay with buying my shrooms at the supermarket.

Thanks muchly! I'm new at this macro business, so I'm still just pointing and shooting. I'm not sure if, with my lenses, the whole shroom would ever be in focus.

I sure do like your shots. Is it possible to get the focus to follow all the way thru the shroom top? Really enjoy your pics and subjects.
