Thanks for the comments Talsi and Vicki,This is the first one I have seen in this area,and I haven't seen him since.Maybe he was just taking the scenic route to his nest.lol

You must have quite a few migratory species out your way, Alex. Like Beverly, I never saw them in Michigan either. This is beautiful. I love the coloration. Vicki

Nice capture. I love it when one of these little birds visits our yard. I am surprised you have them in Maine, as I never saw them when I lived in Michigan, thought they were a southern bird.
