About This Image

One of many small rivers in the area around Vanderpool, Texas. Mountain Cedars and cottonwood trees line the banks. The water is incredibly clear after being filtered through the limestone.

Thank you, Anne, for your visit and kind words. This is a pretty typical sight in the central Texas hill country. The creeks are filled with crystal clear water that is filtered through limestone.

I love the reflections, the roots of the fallen tree and the white water in the background. A beautiful picture. Makes me yearn to go wading. *g*
