Thank you for all the kind remarks. I watch the afternoon weather to see if there will be clouds in the west. Sometimes I get lucky--and have my camera ready.

this is fantastic! I think the only place I've seen such a sunset might have been at Mazatlan, Mexico, many years ago. Here is BC, one place where we have seen great sunsets, is Powell River, but not as good as this one.
