About This Image

I got a chance to stop by the National Aviary in Pittsburgh, PA. I got a few bird shots, it would be a great place to loaf all day and get some interesting bird captures. Here is a Rainbow Lorikeet, it would be hard to find a more colorful bird anywhere. Thanks for looking. Don

That is a very colorful bird Don and you captured is very well.I got a few shots of one of these while in an avery in Canada but I wasn't happy with them.I guess I have an excuse to go back there and try again.

We have these colorful noisy birds in the wild up here in Auckland,they take over native nesting sites but do add a splash of colour to our native avian flock.Don have you seen a Goldian Finch? They are very colourful-there is a lady on the lens flare that has some nice images posted,regards Vince.
