Wonderful capture, Whittler and there are rain drops, too. :-) I always enjoy viewing the bird photos.

Not sure what the bird is either, but lean towards the House Finch. But whatever, it is a great photo of a pretty little bird.

How beautiful - I just checked out the Audubon Eastern Bird Handbook, and he looks close to a Purple Finch - definitely not a Redpoll. The part that's confusing is his chest coloring which seems to have a brownish bib - whereas the purple finch is red all the way down - anyone else have an idea?

very nice little visitor there. Not sure what it is, but looks something like "our" house finches or rosy finches.
