About This Image

A solo fisherman calmly enjoys the afternoon while boats wait to be rented. The pile of twigs in front of me is a huge beaver lodge, though I didn't see any of the beavers. I met the park photographer this afternoon ho told me that black bears are also common in this park. Hopefully I'll see some before we leave on Monday.

We don't have to be at our new place until Monday and found this terrific State Park to stay at less than 40 miles from there.

How do you do Andy, and thank you for your gracious welcome. I already told Michael that when I go to Bushkill Falls he can take off and pick me up about 4 hours later . . . I hope that will be enough time! I was unaware of the Dingmans Falls. I crossed that tiny tollbridge in my transporting days - the tollbooth keeper had to walk out and stop oncoming traffic as my dually pickup truck was almost too wide! (I delivered a travel trailer in New Jersey but had to go the long way around with it - the DF bridge was a welcome shortcut back to I-80!) I've noted your other locations too - thanks for the tips - always appreciated. For now we're going to work at Outdoor World -Timothy Lakes Campgrounds. vicki

I enjoy your photo adventures very much Vicki, and welcome to the pocono Mts. while in Bushkill check out Bushkill Falls, Raymondskill falls, and dingmans Falls. You may also want to cross the Dingmans bridge to see the Peters Vally area and Millbrook village. Andy
