This is a wonderful photo. I also grew up in England riding behind the steam engines getting sooty-faced between Waterloo Station and Devonshire in the late 50s and early 60s.

I have to comment on this again. To me, this shot captures the mystique of trains. I grew up in the era of trains and grew to love them.
