Prickly Pear Cactus With Bloom

Hi Alex, Thanks very much... Well 30 years ago when I first bought my house we would see rattle snakes and garter snakes all of the time, but now with all of the houses around us I have not seen a snake in a few years now. They don't like all of our noise and cars and have moved farther out in the desert. Even walking around way out in the middle of nowhere I still have not seen a snake. Maybe this year I will get a chance to get a photo of a Mojave Green or regular rattler.

Hi Lorraine, Carol, and Jas.. Thanks for your really nice comments. I'm glad you all are enjoying my cactus photos. It sure is nice that the weather has warmed up and all of the plants are blooming. I can just walk out of my yard and then there are miles and miles of cactus.

Very nice, I wish we had flowers and an area like this to visit, I'd be out there everyday.
