Pretty Brown Butterfly

Hi Alex, Thanks for the WOW and about my brother. :) He is doing great and should be home in a few more days. I did have fun taking some shots of this butterfly, I'm use to them flying away if you move to fast, this one did not seem to care about me at all.

Hi Mary and Carol, Thanks very much for dropping by and commenting on my photo. That is interesting Mary about Tieh standing for a long life, this butterfly must have been letting me know that my brother is going to live a bit longer :)

Great catch Alan, especially on the day your Brother showed improvement. Have fun with your shutter! The Mandarin Chinese word for butterfly is "hu-tieh". "Tieh" means "70 years", therefore butterflies have become a symbol for a long life.
