About This Image

This was the first tree blossom I came across, for the new year. I took the photo' with my small compact digital camera and am quite impressed with the results.
I'm not sure if the blossom is cherry or almond, although, it looks more like cherry.

truly lovely. there seems to be a slight sheen on some of the petals. seeing a sight such as this can certainly brighten the gloomiest of days.

Beautiful and calls one's attention to it immediately. The different shades in blossom are wonderful, with the added bit of green and brown highlighted and also the little round orange group of seeds. A great picture!
