I took a series of shots of these geese.
The eggs are not hatched yet. In fact, at one point, as I was walking this guy came after me but stopped short, within about a foot, with his beak open. I thought he was going to chase me but he did stop and went back in the water.

Sounds like you had a bit of an adventure, Mary, taking this capture. I have heard they have quite a bite. It's a beautiful portrait.

This are wonderful pictures Mary. The water and reflections- the curve of the neck to continue in the reflection so well.

very protective, aren't they. Did this one hiss also, as I believe they will hiss too : ) Really nice series of photos.
