thankyou very much for the nice comments, Steve, Don, Alex and Carol. Bet it looks a lot different right now, after all the snow we've just had, in the past 24 hours, and it's still snowing. very unusual for this area.

I love the strong lines in this photo: the horizontal of the horizon, the diagonal of the stream bank, and the verticals of the tree trunks. Excellent image.
