just noticed your nice comment here too, Tam, thanks very much. I did just realize how vivid that bloom is, when I looked at it now. Almost "fluorescent", right.

thanks very much, Karen, for the great comments. It is a great lens and is on my camera most of the time, I have to admit :) It seems to be so versatile. The image was handheld, - but I put a cushion on the window ledge and rest my elbows on it, forming a type of "tripod" with my arms that way, so it keeps the camera steady. Plus the lens is image stabilized and I have it set on "sports" mode most of the time, so it's very fast.
