About This Image

Met up with this dog today when out. He was in a fenced in yard next to the Beechwood Nature Center. He wanted to get my attention and did. I don't know what breed it is.

nice shot, Mary. Cute dog, too. May is right, it's a German Shorthair Pointer, a neighbour had one. Were it's ears sticking out like that, or did you capture the dog in movement? Cute anyway.

I second all Alan's comments. I like the way the background echos, but doesn't distract from, the colours in the subject.

Excellent photo Mary! Great exposure, composition and colors. What a fun photo to view :-) That red collar is a tad bright. Those ears sure are big, can that dog fly? LOL.. Great Job!

Isn't he cute?! I had a German Shorthair Pointer once named Lady Fancy Flowers - that's what he is. Lovely, high energy bird dogs.
