About This Image

This is the Peace Arch, at the Border between Canada and the USA, at Blaine, WA state, about half an hour south from where we live.

On the Canadian Side, it states "Brethren Dwelling Together in Unity" and on the US side, it states "Children of a Common Mother". And inside the arch, on each side, there is a gate fastened to the inside walls, and there it states "May These Gates Never Be Closed".

This Peace Arch is set in a beautiful park, we spent sometime there this evening, we walked through the Arch into the USA (but didn't pass thru Customs), we just remained in the park area, looking at the various flowers, shrubs and trees on each side.

Hi Alex, - did think of you while there, as recall you saying you have been this way and wondered if you'd see these. Would you like me to email you some of these pics? Would be happy to do so. Let me know which ones, email me privately with your address. (thanks for the comments also)

Alandra, Been there several times, passing through customs. Last time probably 6 months ago. Always wanted to take some pictures here, but never seemed to have time to stop and catch some shots. Glad you were able to do it for me.
