I love this photo. As Steve sugested try cropping may be a panoramic. I love the way you follow the soldiers and there is the golden roof

Nice shot, and an interesting contrast between the gilded palace roof and the military guard. I think I'd have cropped the right hand side of this picture tight against the leading soldier. The background tourists add nothing, but do distract the eye from the composition.
