this is the #1 newly fledged baby owl. This was it's first flight, the youngster had flown farthest away from the nest tree, and the mother owl was guarding it nearby.
The #2 baby is in the photos, perched at the side of the nest tree.

ALL your photos are lovely - wish I could manipulate them like you do, but this for some reason is my favorite of the owl pics. Those tiny little ears are so cute as he glares and dares you to come closer!
