We recently visited friends that live at the bottom of this valley. The ride up was honestly vertical and very very scary but well worth it for the view we had.

To Jas and Alex, thank you both for the comments and viewing. I am so glad we made it too as I was thinking it may be the last day I would ever see the sun shine! I could have stayed there all day it was so beautiful. We are going back but I'm hoping the owner may have a helicopter by then!!!

Glad you made it to the top, or we wouldn't be able to share this, lovely, New Zealand scene. This is how I remember NZ and when I see these green, hilly, mountains I always think of Lord of the Rings. :)
