Our Pineapple Plant 2008

Hi Beverly, thankyou. It is an interesting plant and I enjoy looking at it each time am out on patio. Noticed today when watering the plants, that a 3rd one of these has just appeared, so it does seem to be multiplying :)

thankyou Tam and Jas for the nice comments. I hope your plant does turn out to be the same as this. Am esp pleased that it overwintered outside! Am hoping it migh multiply. The purple edging around leaves and florets really add to the pleasure of it, as you say. You can see this dark edging moreso in the larger image.

This is very pretty. We were given a plant, which, we believe is a Pineapple plant. It hasn't flowered as yet though. If it is like this one, I will be delighted! I just love the delicate flowers and the hints of purple on the flowers add to the delicacy. :)

What an interesting and beautifully plant you have captured, Alandra. The colors are so nicely photographed. Shows so well with the darker background.
