Hi Janice, thanks for the nice comment. Lucy is doing well. But we still have to lift her up and down the stairs for another month yet, each time she wants to go out. She weighs 70 lbs, so it's hard work :)

thanks Susan, yes they are pretty much inseparable. It's awful to imagine what one will do without the other, when one "goes". To say nothing of our sorrow when the time comes, as it always does with these beautiful pets, sadly.

Hi again, Lorraine, meant to add, that Lucy's lying on her "doggie bed", - they both have one, but usually snuggle up together. Lucy's leg is bothering her right now tho', so she tends to keep more to herself.

A lovely shot, and it looks like they have the best seat in the house, thats the part that I dread the most, we dont seem to have them for long enough.
