Carol, Alex R, and Chris, thanks so much for looking in and leaving your comments. Chris, I would appreciate an email with a list of the varieties of Poppies and thanks for naming this one. I'm going to see if our garden center carries it. Thanks for your offer to do this for me.

Mary, This perennial species is the Oriental Poppy 'Goliath'(Red). There are many other varieties if you wish to know them, I could send you an e-mail.

Chris and Jas, thanks so much for looking and leaving your comments. I love these Poppies and wait for them to bloom every year since I found them. If you know the name please let me know. I should take a photo to one of the garden centers to see if I could get any of this particular species.
