Olive and Terracotta

Thank you, Alandra, Lorraine and Whittler for your comments. I think the edging was lavender but the flowers in the middle of the bed were something different, not sure what. I took the photograph while we were in Madeira, in one of the botanical gardens. I really like the knarled (sp?)look of the tree trunks and the added contrast of the terracotta pots.

lovely setting, thoses pots look huge, but very effective on there sides like the are in this garden.

interesting and unusual, Jas, very nice. Is that lavender growing beneath the olive trees? The scent must be beautiful, if it is. Where was this?
