thanks Pinetree3,Alovely and Bruce. Yes it is a TD. it has been well looked after and the owner said he uses it on rallies all over the country

That looks like a TD to me. Definitely not a TC. Apparently it has been kept in excellent condition. My father owned one (1952) for several years and I got to drive it once I got my license. A fun car, that I loved to drive then.

Nice image! Is that a TD? A friend had one in the 1950's, and I rode along on a lot of rallies and road trips. Much fun, but you didn't want to get caught in a rainstorm with the top down. Mechanically, it was pretty unreliable and a real money pit. Thanks for stirring some memories!! Bruce
