This rose has petals that look like velvet, it starts out a plale red with yellow then changes to a heavy blood red, and then slowely start to fade, the indside of the petal is red and the out side or back is a creamy yellow, have not come across one quite like this before

Thanks, the scent is very gentle, very nice thu, it must be an old rose, i have no idea of the name but have to go to the local plant shop latter this week so I'll take a flower and see if they cancome up with a name

how beautiful Lorraine, am glad you described how it changes. Does it have a lovely scent also? If you find out the name of this rose, perhaps you could let me know, as I'd love to get one.
