this was taken in a New York subway, i saw this man reading a book, but everytime a train came along, he would raise his hands and block his ears. i found this wonderful because im from ireland and we dont have an underground transport system. if someone did this type of thing at a bus stop or a train station, they would get some very strange looks indeed, but in NY, nobody cared and it was just normal.
